Our Story

Dance to be wild!

We are passionate about inspiring dancers worldwide to help conserve Africa’s precious wildlife. Through our Dance to be Wild tours, we have impacted children and dancers across South Africa, using the power of dance to educate communities about wildlife conservation, while teaching dance and raising awareness around the devastating consequences of poaching and abuse.

This cause is deeply personal to Shelia and Johnny. Their love for Africa’s wildlife runs as deep as their love for dance. By bringing these two passions together, they created something meaningful, an initiative that uplifts communities while advocating for conservation.

Today, this mission continues through our dance studio in Chartwell, where we train, mentor, and inspire dancers of all ages. The studio serves as a creative home for growth, expression, and education, keeping the spirit of Dance to be Wild alive while shaping the next generation of passionate performers and conservation advocates.
